Darrel brings a wealth of experience to every transaction or client he is involved with. He has been deeply involved in real estate conveyancing and real estate development work (including covenants, charges, sub-divisions, zoning, etc.). Darrel practices in the area of wills and estates and can not only assist you in creating a will which fits into your personal estate planning goals, but also represents executors and estate administrators in applying for a grant of probate or letters of administration from court for the estate of a deceased loved one. Darrel also advises on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including ensuring your rights are protected in the purchase and sale of businesses/companies with appropriate asset purchase agreements and share purchase agreements, incorporations of new companies and the drafting of shareholder agreements and partnership agreements.

Accomplishments
Darrel obtained an Engineering degree in 1971 and then a Law degree in 1981 from the University of British Columbia. Darrel articled with a large Vancouver law firm and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1982. Darrel practiced in Vancouver as an associate lawyer before starting his own law firm in 1983 at its present address in Maple Ridge. A resident of Maple Ridge all his life and a pillar in the community, Darrel is married with four children and seven grandchildren. Darrel is active in a number of community organizations and charities.
